Aluminosilicate of beryllium belonging to the hexagonal system of pink color also called morganite.

Aluminosilicate of beryllium belonging to the hexagonal system of pink color also called morganite. With a hardness of 7.5 to 8 on the Mochs scale, this gem was named morganite as a tribute to the banker and American collector J.P. Morgan who discovered it in 1902 in the pegmatites of Pala in California. Pink beryl is found in Madagascar, Brazil, Mozambique and the Urals.

And do not forget, all the stones are fragile! Even the diamond ....

The pink beryllium can be mounted in ring, earrings or pendant.
